Our mission is to identify changes needed in the Hungarian tax legislation with the aim of making it more competitive and to represent the interests of AmCham members in consultation with the government accordingly.
The Tax Committee provides members with the opportunity to stay up to date with tax changes and key developments and serves as a forum to share their experiences and discuss tax-related issues.
For a competitive tax environment, committee members proposed several modifications in specific areas of taxation. The suggestions were included in the 'Cooperation for a More Competitive and Sustainable Hungary 2024-25' recommendation package and discussed with policymakers.
As of September 2025, the Tax Committee will be chaired by Dorottya Fábián, Tax and Legal Partner at Deloitte, succeeding Károly Radnai, Managing Partner, Andersen in Hungary, whom we thank for his years of dedicated service and leadership.
