During a high-level meeting with Minister for Innovation and Technology, László Palkovics in June, Deputy State Secretary Tibor Gulyás was appointed as a strategic liaison to AmCham. Following up on his appointment, State Secretary Gulyás initiated a meeting with AmCham’s leadership on August 31, where AmCham President Zoltán Szabó and CEO Irisz Lippai-Nagy attended, together with Board Member Péter Csucska (Kostal), topic owners László Pók (Telekom) and Benjámin Feldmájer (Schneider Electric) and AmCham Policy Officer Zsófia Valkó-Juhász.
AmCham’s Recommendation Package for a Competitive and Sustainable Hungary is the cornerstone of the cooperation with the Ministry, and key contacts were provided to further discuss all recommendations that fall under the Ministry’s jurisdiction, such as energy security, electromobility, alternative fuels, innovation, digitalization or adjustments to the Labor Code.
AmCham’s Policy Team will follow up on these meetings and we will share milestones with the membership.
