On November 14, volunteers of AmCham’s Governance and Transparency Committee visited Corvinus University of Budapest to hold a board simulation for business students.
The main goal was to provide students with a realistic experience of a board meeting focused on the acquisition of a foreign company. With Mentimeter's online voting platform, students were invited to actively participate in the simulation, vote on key business decisions and gain valuable insight into the decision-making process by taking on the role of a board member.
The mission of the Governance and Trade Committee is to improve the governance and transparency as well as to boost competitiveness, entrepreneurship, and sustainability in the private, non-profit, and public sectors by engaging the next generation of leaders and the trainers of those future leaders and by positively influencing regulations and legislation.For more details about the activities of the Committee, please click here.
