In the latest AmCham LIVE! webinar on May 18, we looked at employee benefit optimization and gaining the most value from your people budget through effective data analysis with Róbert Bencze, Head of the People and Organization Team at PwC.
Employee benefits are always high on the agenda of business leaders; however, COVID-19 has changed how employees value various types of compensations and the company strategy must be adjusted to the colleagues’ preferences and expectations.
In his presentation, Róbert Bencze explained how an optimized benefit system can not only help strengthen commitment and improve employee retention, but it can enhance the overall employee experience and bolster the chance to attract the best talent.
PwC partnered up with TruChoice to develop a data and fact-based decision making solution which can accurately measure how much the existing benefit package is worth to the employees and help employers gain a better understanding of the expectations and needs of their colleagues.
Employees take a survey on their preferences and the information is used to create a unique analytics database that can help compare perceived and actual value of offered and planned benefits, identify unique characteristics specific to various segments of the workforce, which allow the creation of optimized packages and personalized solutions.
Bencze presented the customizable survey and introduced a recent case study from the Middle East to showcase the analytics capabilities of the program.
Following the presentation, participants had a lively discussion about the shifting trends in benefits and the details of the optimization process, moderated by Dr. Róbert Dobay, Competitive Workforce Policy Task Force Lead.
Róbert Bencze and Dr. Róbert Dobay will also speak at the upcoming Competitive Workforce Conference: Recovery Playbook for Resilient Organizations event, organized in partnership with the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency on June 1 where we will tackle the key challenges business leaders must face to emerge stronger after the pandemic.
