AmCham Hungary and the Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) organize the Business Meets Government Summit, the flagship event of our organizations, for the eight consecutive year. The Business Meets Government Summit has become a key platform for connecting investors with policy-makers and is a leading advocacy forum in Hungary. It aggregates the expertise of 150+ leaders from top investors, government leaders, think-tanks and academia. We come together annually in the Fall since 2015 with the agenda to make Hungary more sustainable and competitive.

In the plenary international experts and local government officials analyze the geopolitical and economic landscape. AmCham’s Recommendation Package is a cornerstone for the policy discussions in the four breakout sessions on macroeconomic trends, taxation, the labor market, healthcare, energy security and sustainability.
