Why do you think membership in the American Chamber of Commerce is important for businesses operating in Hungary?
“We are stronger together.” – This is what I believe in. Working together with member companies for a common goal is the best opportunity to improve our business environment. Having such a big business network creates opportunity to share views and ideas, leverage on experience and grow our businesses.
What motivates you to be an AmCham Board Member?
I would like to continue contributing to the discussions and actions that help our economy and the businesses to emerge stronger from the current economic challenges.
Why do you feel you are qualified? What skills do you bring to the position of Board Member?
I have extensive leadership experience and a track record of successfully driving strategic initiatives, exploring alternatives and reaching the best potential outcome. I enjoy transforming vision to actions and delivery. I’m passionate about talent development, diversity and inclusion, supporting efforts to improve education and capability building, which is critical both for the economy and for the continuous growth for our businesses.
How have you been active in AmCham over the course of the last two years?
Diageo became Patron member last year, as a Board member I contributed to recommendation papers, we are members of several Committees. Actively supported the BSS (Business services sector) Hungary Working Group to address challenges of the industry and raise the awareness and attractiveness of the business services sector, we play an active role in promoting our industry and the career opportunities through several channels and events. We are also an active member of the HR Committee, contribute to discussions, share experience, knowledge and challenges with the members. We hosted several AmCham events on our office and also supported several celebration events throughout the past two years.
