StarKing Óbuda Kft., the legal predecessor of iCentre, was founded in 1988 by four Hungarian computer technology professionals to provide hardware and software development services, and in 1993 they opened the first Hungarian Apple store and service centre in Óbuda. In 2013, StarKing Óbuda Kft was acquired by Malta-based Hili Salomone Ltd - a new joint venture between Hili Company and VJ Salomone - and in the same year the store network was rebranded as iCentre. Currently, iCentre-Hungary Ltd. has Apple Premium Reseller (APR) stores in three shopping malls - Allee, Arena Mall, MOM Park - and an Apple Authorised Service Centre in Infopark.
As an Apple Premium Reseller, iCentre sells Apple's full range of products, as well as premium quality accessories for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch.
