Since its spin-off in September 2025, AUMOVIO continues the business of the former Continental group sector Automotive as an independent company. The technology and electronics company offers a wide-ranging portfolio that makes mobility safe, exciting, connected, and autonomous. This includes sensor solutions, displays, braking, and comfort systems, as well as comprehensive expertise in software, architecture platforms, and assistance systems for software-defined vehicles. In the fiscal year 2024, the business areas, which now belong to AUMOVIO, generated sales of 19.6 billion Euro. AUMOVIO in Hungary:
AUMOVIO is present in Hungary as a modern, flexible, and agile technology and electronics company, working on solutions that shape the future of mobility. The company continues the activities of the former Continental plants in Budapest and Veszprém, the Vehicle Dynamics Development Center, as well as the Budapest-based center developing driver assistance systems, now under the AUMOVIO name.
At the Budapest plant, electronic control units, displays, and infotainment solutions are manufactured using state-of-the-art technologies. In Veszprém, the company develops and produces sensors, as well as vehicle dynamics and safety solutions for global car manufacturers, supported by its own test track and laboratory-based development processes. The Budapest development center serves as the Hungarian hub for advanced driver assistance and automated driving systems, building on its expertise in artificial intelligence and application development to take future mobility solutions, such as parking, to a new level.
