On March 19, AmCham’s DEI&B Working Group held an interactive session led by Dr. Andrea Juhos, Managing Partner at LHH Hungary and Leader of the DEI&B Working Group. The workshop focused on common factors that hinder women’s career advancement, based on findings from LHH’s study on Elevating Women in Leadership.
The barriers identified included, among others, lack of confidence and impostor syndrome, absence of a career plan, modesty/silence, neglecting the importance of networking, and perfectionism. The session also explored potential solutions, such as developing a clear career plan aimed at helping women overcome these barriers and advance in their careers.
