On March 30, AmCham Hungary with its eight-member delegation organized a special event for the students of Budapest Business School with the objective to simulate a shareholder meeting related to a foreign investment.
Students of the the Faculty of International Management and Business were given the opportunity to "participate" at a board meeting where the acquisition of a company abroad is discussed. In this simulation, the students played the role of the a shareholders, who could use Mentimeter, an online voting interface to vote about accepting business decisions, while compromising details about the company's background were revealed.
The participating managers from member companies of AmCham acted as members of the Board of Directors. The event took place within the framework of the Legal environment of international investments course of the MSc International Economy and Business full time programme.
