On April 23, AmCham’s Workspace and Facilities Management Committee held an ESG-focused meeting at KOSTAL’s office, discussing what makes an office truly sustainable. The discussion was introduced by Vivien Bajor from ICON Real Estate Management, joined by József Bőhm from KOSTAL Group, Erika Chiuhan from bp, and András Cserháti from Baker Hughes.
Participants explored the role of fit-out strategy, reuse, circular economy, energy efficiency, smart office solutions, and facility management. They highlighted that ESG becomes a real business consideration when it is embedded in planning and operational decisions, linked to measurable results, and balances short-term investment needs with long-term returns.
