Tax Committee Members Updated Their Earlier Recommendations Towards the Government

Still online - On November 10, 2020, AmCham’s Tax Committee members met virtually to update their earlier recommendations towards the government and agree on topics to be discussed at the meeting to come with Botond Besesek, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Finance.

AmCham always welcomed new steps from the government to reduce the tax burden and recommended further measures to ensure a competitive and predictable tax environment. Time has come to renew AmCham Recommendation Package 2020 and the submitted Tax Committee’s suggestions reacting to the extraordinary measures due to the pandemic situation in March 2020. Therefore, on November 10, 2020 AmCham’s Tax Committee held its next online meeting to discuss their current issues, experiences and update their recommendations. Károly Radnai, Tax Committee Lead (Andersen) moderated the discussion and participants also agreed on topics to raise at the forthcoming online meeting with Botond Besesek, Deputy State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance.
