On November 12, AmCham’s HR Committee hosted an engaging panel discussion on the transformative role of AI in the evolving HR landscape. The event, opened by Dr. Róbert Dobay (HR Committee Chari, Menedzsmentor) featured distinguished speakers Fanni Kadocsa (Hybridge Consulting), Péter Szabó (Microsoft), Andor Glatt (NEXON), and László Kónya (AmCham Board Member; Deutsche Telekom TSI Hungary), moderator of the discussion.
The discussion provided valuable insights into the latest AI trends in Hungary, highlighting practical applications in HR. Panelists shared use cases spanning recruitment, hiring, training, coaching, career planning, workload organization, and change management, emphasizing the transformative potential of AI. They underscored that AI offers benefits far beyond productivity, including enhanced employee well-being, stronger employer branding, and improved retention.
They also addressed key challenges and compliance issues, including the EU AI Act, EU Data Boundary, and topics such as AI vulnerability, data protection, copyright, financing, and sustainability.
