Dear AmCham Members,
We would like to draw your attention to the campaing of Sharity Zrt. launched jointly with with the Turkish Embassy and the University of Fine Arts in Hungary to support the victims of the deadly earthquakes in Turkey. Supporters can donate via the Sharity app or on Sharity's website where they may even receive a piece of valuable art for their donation.
Catastrophic earthquakes hit parts of Turkey in February this year. More than 45’000 people died, 230’000 buildings were damaged and more than 2 million people lost their homes.
The graphic artists of the Hungarian University of Fine Arts offered – via the Turkish Embassy – 100 of their works of art, in 364 copies to the benefit of the victims of the disaster. The donors will receive a particular work of art for their donation. The collection takes place within the Sharity app and on Sharity’s website.
Sharity – following one of its main principles – provides this help for free.100% of the donations go to the selected good cause. Operational costs are covered by advertising fees, sponsors and promoters. Therefore, we ask our Members to consider supporting the campaign. In case of sponsorship, your company name and logo will be placed on the official site of the collection. Furthermore, you also have an opportunity to place an advertisement (or any videos carrying value) in the app, in order to support the victims of the disaster.
As a cooperating partner, Sharity provides help to the University and the Turkish Embassy in the collection of the donations.The University and the Embassy will raise awareness on this campaign – run with Sharity – with outdoor billboards, and in other online and offline media. The aim is to direct attention to the Sharity sites managing the collection of donations. Therefore, your company name and logo on the Sharity sites, connected to this campaign, will confirm that you also provide significant help to the good cause.
On top of the online auction of the works of art mentioned above, an event will be also organized. Works of art not participating in the online auction can be auctioned there. It is also possible to appear as a sponsor of the mentioned event.
