In September, upon the request of the Ministry of Justice, the Regulatory Committee reviewed and commented on some questions related to the provisions on expedited arbitration which would be discussed at the seventieth session of the Working Group II (Dispute Settlement) of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
Questions also touched upon the process for the appointment of sole arbitrators. As the expected next step, the Commission will put the report of Working Group II on its Agenda in 2020. (UNCITRAL documents are posted on the UNCITRAL website)
