Policy Forum with Diána Ürge-Vorsatz, climate scientist

On December 4, AmCham hosted a Policy Forum welcoming Diána Ürge-Vorsatz, climate scientist who shared insights on the key topics and outcomes of the 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference. Her remarks highlighted the urgency of investing in sustainability, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and protecting lives and livelihoods from the growing impacts of climate change.

The forum, moderated by Thomas Narbeshuber, Vice President and Head of Central & South Eastern Europe at BASF, and Chair of AmCham’s Sustainable Growth Committee, also featured the introduction of the new Committee Chair. We bid farewell with heartfelt thanks to Mr. Narbeshuber for his dedicated leadership over the years and welcomed József Bőhm, Global Head of Sustainability at Kostal Group, as the next chair of the committee.
