On June 24, AmCham welcomed Chargé d’Affaires Robert Palladino from the U.S. Embassy Budapest to its Patron Dinner.
With AmCham’s roots tracing back to U.S. companies, collaboration with the Embassy has always been a key pillar in strengthening bilateral ties, and we look forward to continuing this cooperation.

From an economic perspective, the importance of bilateral trade cannot be overstated. U.S. companies account for the 4th largest share of FDI in Hungary. Their presence not only drives economic growth but also brings valuable knowledge and innovation. Sustaining strong cooperation with Western investors is therefore essential to our long-term competitiveness.
The evening began with a short address by Chargé d’Affaires Palladino, followed by thoughtful discussions, shared perspectives, and great conversations over dinner and networking.
