On Thursday, February 19, AmCham Hungary hosted its first Patron Breakfast of the year at Morgan Stanley, focusing on the current state and future prospects of the Hungarian and global economy.
Our guest speakers, Ákos Kozák, Co-Founder of the Equilibrium Institute, and Ádám Czelleng, PhD, economist at the Equilibrium Institute, shared valuable insights on GDP growth, gradually declining inflation, and the complex policy solutions needed to address ongoing economic uncertainties.
The discussion also highlighted the structural challenges facing the Hungarian economy and the importance of finding sustainable pathways to avoid the middle-income trap.
