Investment Policy Task Force members met online on September 11, 2020 with the objective to discuss the new priorities and perspectives for the coming years.
In the last five years the AmCham Policy Agendas (2015-2017 and 2017-2020) served as solid framework for our advocacy efforts and have been clear indicators of our priorities. They defined how members of the AmCham Community work together to improve Hungary’s competitiveness. The time has come to collect relevant input for the compilation of AmCham’s NEW Policy Agenda for 2021-2025, with special focus of the general business environment for investment.
During the meeting András Havas, partner of McKinsey, Budapest office, presented the main outcome of their Report on Hungary 2030: National Economic Development with special focus of investment and general business environment. (The Report was conducted in collaboration with AmCham and will be launched soon)
Members discussed some findings of the presentation and agreed to continue our collaboration and to work together in the process of planning our future.
