On September 7, 2020 AmCham’s Innovation Policy Task Force held its first fall meeting online. The meeting was an important step towards the elaboration of the new Policy Agenda 2021-25.
At the meeting McKinsey presented the key findings of their Hungary 2030: Powering up for a decade of growth report (the full report will be published later this fall).
Although COVID-19 is a challenge for businesses, employees and the public sector alike, it is also an opportunity to reconsider the foundations and perspectives of how we think of business development. This is especially true in a recessive economic environment, when innovation can be the key to survival.
Participants discussed how the PTF’s activities should be focused in the future and what topics should be discussed in the coming months. AmCham continues to be a platform of cooperation between the business society and the government as well as a place for best practice sharing among its members.
