AmCham Hungary organized the second session of its HR Masterclass on April 20. At the event, our guests - Svetlana Pancenko (UniCredit Bank Hungary), Andrea Illés, (Nokia), and Zsolt Könczöl (Fusion Zrt), with Márta Reguly (PWC) - discussed possible ways and solutions to ensure positive employee journey, from the recruiting till the retirement or offboarding.
The invited experts agreed that positive employee experience is beneficial for numerous reasons. It contributes to stronger teamwork, higher morale and job satisfaction, better retention rates, and increased company loyalty.
They highlighted that there is no one-size-fits-all method to create a positive employee experience. Therefore, the steps HR introduces for a positive employee journey (mentor programs, flexible schedule, learning & development, etc.) must be strategic decisions where the purpose and the expected outcomes are all determined.
Perhaps this also explains why they also mentioned a variety of programs such as programs for returning mothers and the so-called silver generation, then career development programs for young professionals.
Hiring based on matching needs is also an important aspect of employee satisfaction and experience. Besides, personalized employee experience was also mentioned as a way to make the employee experience more fulfilling.
Our third Masterclass will take place on April 27 with a focus on Hybrid Work Paradox regarding how to effectively balance in-person collaboration and flexible remote work.
