We kicked off the fall season in September with Árpád Jorzsits, the new Chair of AmCham’s Digital Committee, to discuss the Committee’s priorities and future activities.
Based on the topics and proposals submitted by members, four key workstreams have emerged: Advocacy, Digital Enablement, Smart Scaling, and EU Digital Regulation, with the latter newly added in response to members’ suggestions. While there are no strict boundaries between these areas, the workstreams will provide a framework for turning members’ ideas into concrete initiatives and joint action.
The table below provides an overview of the four workstreams, their leads, and the main topics identified so far:

It’s not too late to get involved! We encourage all members to join the Digital Committee and any of its four workstreams, contribute their expertise, and suggest additional topics for the Committee to address. To get involved or share your input and feedback, please contact Edina Molnár, Policy Manager, at edina.molnar [at] amcham.hu (edina[dot]molnar[at]amcham[dot]hu).
We also invite you to our next Digital Committee meeting on November 18, where we will introduce the four workstreams and their leaders and explore the topic of drone protection. You can find more information here.
Together, we aim to translate our members’ expertise and ideas into meaningful initiatives that advance digitalization and strengthen Hungary’s competitiveness.
