Consultation Continues on Recommendations with State Secretary László György

Continuing consultations about our 'Cooperation for a More Competitive and Sustainable Hungary 2021' recommendation package, an AmCham delegation met László György, State Secretary for Economic Strategy and Regulation at the Ministry for Innovation and Technology today to talk about the proposals, with special consideration to the points addressing the competitiveness of our workforce, supporting the acceleration of digital transformation and facilitating the introduction of sustainability policies and healthcare reform.

State Secretary György, advisor László Bódis, Deputy State Secretaries Gáborné Pölöskei, Tamás Horváth and several leading experts from the ministry provided detailed feedback on the recommendations and expressed their intention to support several proposals. The policymakers agreed that the legal framework of remote work needs to be revised and atypical work forms should be further encouraged.
