Decision makers of the BSS Project met online to discuss how to continue the in the light of the COVID-19 outbreak.
Since the first plenary meeting in February, BSS project members have been forming sub-project groups and creating action plans for 2020. However, due to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 outbreak, leaders of the BSS member companies assembled online to revaluate the project goals and share their insights on the current situation. Seemingly the disruptions mildly affected the Business Service Sector overall and companies could smoothly adapt to the home office environment, although those who are still hiring are facing new challenges when it comes to recruitment and onboarding processes.
Regarding the Project, all 25 member companies are ready to continue the work together and prepare in advance for the career orientation visits, university cooperation, job fairs, open days and other events that are postponed to the Autumn season. Four sub-project groups are already planning the activities and creating social media content to raise the BSS awareness online until we can finally meet face-to-face with those who are interested in the sector.
