BSS Business Breakfast

AmCham's BSS Hungary Working Group, in cooperation with ABSL and Randstad, hosted a Business Breakfast on July 2, focusing on the awareness and evolving attractiveness of the Business Services Sector (BSS).

Sándor Baja, Randstad’s Managing Director for the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Romania, presented insights from Randstad’s latest Employer Brand Research, Workmonitor, and HR Trends Report. The research confirms that the business services sector is among Hungary’s top-performing industries, alongside IT.

Globally, personalization, a sense of community, and opportunities for continuous skilling have emerged as core expectations among employees. While generational preferences vary—Gen X and baby boomers tend to value community, whereas younger generations place greater emphasis on career progression—these evolving priorities are becoming increasingly evident within the BSS sector as well.

The advancement of AI is transforming job roles and reshaping the skills landscape across all industries. This makes training and development opportunities a growing priority for both companies and talent.

Ultimately, Sándor highlighted that, based on the results of the Employer Brand Research, the Business Services Sector has maintained its position in terms of awareness and attractiveness, consistent with previous years.
