Dear AmCham Members,
AmCham Portugal is organizing a two-day speed business event for AmChams in Europe network this November in Lisbon, designed to promote collaboration and new business opportunities among AmCham members. The event aims to connect companies from across Europe in a dynamic setting, enabling them to establish valuable contacts and explore cross-industry partnerships. By matching participants with aligned interests and goals, we strive to foster meaningful relationships and help expand their business networks in a highly efficient format.
Date: November 6-7, 2025
Format: Speed Networking - How it Works:
Pre-event:
- Upon registration, companies are asked to complete the "Expression of Interest Form" providing details about their organization, the attending representative, and their specific goals for participating in the event.
- A list of participating companies, along with their submitted information, is shared with all attendees. Each participant then selects 24 companies they would like to meet during the event.
- The organizer compiles a personalized meeting schedule for each participant based on their selected preferences. Along with the schedule, participants will receive a set of rules and guidelines (Do’s & Don’ts) designed to help them make the most of their experience at the speed networking event.
Event:
- Each bilateral meeting is scheduled to last 20 minutes.
- A sound signal marks the end of each meeting, prompting participants to move to their next assigned seat for the following session.
- This process repeats until all participants have completed their scheduled meetings.
- Program per day for the two days event:
- 09:00–10:00 Panel Discussion (topic and speakers to be decided later)
- 10:00-12:00 Speed Networking
- 12:00–13:00 Panel Discussion (topic and speakers to be decided later)
- 13:00–15:00 Lunch
- 15:00–17:00 Speed Networking
- After 17:00 optional social program
Additional Information:
- Over the course of the two-day event, there will be four speed networking sessions, each lasting two hours. With each meeting scheduled for 20 minutes, participants will have the opportunity to engage in up to 24 face-to-face meetings.
- Each participant is responsible for arranging their own travel.
