BSS Hungary cooperation has been awarded the “HOA - CSR Award” for its social responsibility activities during the Christmas period, at the online event held for the 15th anniversary of the HOA - Hungarian Service and Outsourcing Association on February 3, 2021.
The BSS Hungary project was launched in February 2019 by 20 business services centres in Hungary and in partnership with HOA, under the auspices of AmCham Hungary. The aim of increasing the awareness and recognition of the Business Services Sector (BSS). Project member companies work together towards this common goal in a unique and inspiring cooperation to attract talent by highlighting the cosmopolitan, international, employee-centric work environment the BSS can offer. Beside the sector branding, the project engages in educational and social responsibility collaborations as well.
Based on last year's action plan, the participating companies joined the Baptist Charity Service's Shoe Box campaign, in which colleagues working in BSS, supported more than 1,700 children in need by purchasing an online shoe box worth HUF 3,000, as well as donated logic games.
Additionally, the project also supported AmCham Foundation’s charity drive to help the digital education of children in foster homes by equipping them with laptops and tablets.
