Dear AmCham members,
We kindly invite you to a virtual event titled
Success Stories of Family-Owned Businesses in the Central and Eastern Europe Region
In collaboration with CIPE (Center for International Private Enterprise), AmChams in Europe is organizing a virtual event highlighting inspiring business practices in family enterprises in the CEE region.
Family businesses are major contributors to employment, supply chains, and innovation globally, and are therefore key stakeholders in building democracies that deliver. Promoting trust in these businesses is essential to strengthen trust in democracy and market economies more broadly. We selected eight family businesses from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania, Slovenia, Ukraine, Serbia, Croatia, and Hungary. We will publish case studies highlighting these companies' narratives and best practices at this event.
From Hungary, Jankovits Engineering - a famil run business started in 1992, manufacturer of unique machines that designs and manufactures optimal single-purpose machines, production lines, assembly lines, processing machines - will present its unique project.
Please join us for a panel discussion with representatives from these companies to talk about community involvement, corporate social responsibility (CSR), innovation, and resilience. To participate, please register here.
The event will be moderated by Ajša Vodnik, MSc, CEO, AmCham Slovenia, and Vice Chair AmChams in Europe
