AmCham Seminar: Launching the Future Potential Index of the OECD Countries

On February 17, the Future Potentials Observatory (FPO) hosted a seminar where leading experts from the organization presented its activities and launched the 2024 Future Potentials Index (FPI). Unlike traditional economic rankings, the FPI takes a different approach by incorporating factors such as religiousness, social trust and belonging, fertility rates and family structures. Instead of focusing solely on economic and political systems, the index examines governance through key aspects such as peace, security, attachment, care, balance, and health.

János Csák, Strategic Advisor of FPO; Petra Aczél, Leader of the Future Potentials Project at FPO; and Zoltán Oszkár Szántó, Scientific and Executive Director of FPO, shared insights on this new approach and discussed the future potential of OECD countries.
