On November 3, AmCham Hungary hosted its last Patron Dinner of the year, welcoming Commercial Counselor Neil Pickett from the Embassy of the United States as guest of honor alongside his wife, Laura Pickett.
In his opening speech, Ákos Janza, President of AmCham Hungary, expressed his gratitude for Neil's valuable cooperation and contributions to the Chamber over the years.
Counselor Pickett reflected on his four-year assignment in Hungary, sharing personal memories and experiences from his time in the country. As an ex-officio Board member of the AmCham Hungary, he had the opportunity to participate in numerous Chamber events, recalling these occasions with great appreciation and highlighting the positive relationships he had built within the business community.
Following the speeches, AmCham Patron members had the opportunity to enjoy informal conversations with Neil and Laura over dinner at the elegant Párisi Udvar. The evening provided a warm and memorable opportunity to strengthen connections, and bid farewell to a valued member of the AmCham community.
