AmCham Live! - New Webinar Series Launched in April

 

Since AmCham’s spring events were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we launched a new webinar series titled AmCham Live! to address the most pressing issues your business can face in these uncertain times.

At the first session, our friends at Blue Colibri introduced B Terv (Plan B), a brand new nationwide initiative created by Friends Club Hungary to help people displaced by the pandemic find new jobs.

On April 24, Dr. Andrea Juhos, managing partner of Lee Hecht Harrison Hungary, former AmCham board member and Competitive Workforce PTF lead talked about how the coronavirus changed the world of work within days. Besides adapting to remote working, we can develop new skills to improve our efficiency, become better leaders and make us future-proof in the dynamically shifting 21st century.

Remote working poses new challenges for business owners and upper management who have keep the business run smoothly within a new corporate governance framework. The experts at Szecskay Attorneys at Law gave us practical guidance and insight regarding a number of issues from board decisions, balance sheets and officer mandates to capital and remote authentication.
