Join our upcoming Energy Policy Forum with Attila Holoda, energy expert and Managing Director of Aurora Energy, organized by the Sustainable Growth Committee.
Event details:
Date: June 3, 2026
Time: 9:00-10:00
Venue: AmCham Office (1051 Budapest, Szent István Square 11, 6th floor)
The event will provide a strategic platform for AmCham member companies to discuss Hungary’s energy transition in light of current geopolitical developments and shifting international trends. Mr. Holoda's presentation will focus on the evolution of Hungary’s energy mix, opportunities to reduce dependence on Russian energy sources, the growing role of renewable energy, the need to strengthen critical energy infrastructure, and the impact of current geopolitical tensions.
We will also explore how current international economic and trade developments, including U.S.–European energy cooperation, may affect Hungary’s energy security and room for maneuver in energy policy. A key focus of the forum will be the challenges and opportunities that energy diversification presents for companies operating in Hungary, including its impact on costs, the regulatory environment, investment needs, and supply chain adaptation.
The program consists of a presentation by Mr. Holoda and a Q&A session. The event will be moderated by József Bőhm, AmCham's Sustainable Committee Chair, Global Head of Sustainability at KOSTAL Group.
Participation is free, but registration is required. This event is open to AmCham members only.
