At the upcoming open Digital Working Group meeting, we will explore how to strike the right balance between the factory floor, IT systems, and business objectives, while also looking ahead to what comes next. 

The growing volume of data generated at the operational level is prompting companies to rethink how and where data should be processed, bringing edge computing into focus. Do local data centers represent a new strategic direction, or simply a practical way of building on what already exists?

We will also look at how AI is being used in manufacturing today, and whether it mainly supports automation or is already driving more fundamental transformation.
