The digitalization of finance has been a key topic for decision makers for several years now. Since the beginning of the pandemic, it has not only been a matter of interest for financial businesses, the banking sector and policy makers, but also for customers. This is especially true for the Central European region, where we have seen great progress and innovation in certain areas of the digital finance landscape, but also shortcomings and challenges in other areas.
As one of the leading financial companies of Europe, Mastercard set the goal of drawing attention to successful digital initiatives across the region, and providing a platform for debate and discussion. To reach this goal, Mastercard and the American Chambers of Commerce in Hungary and Slovenia have joined forces to organize the Regional Virtual Summit on Financial Digitalization. The event takes place on the backdrop of Slovenia’s EU presidency and Hungary’s Visegrád 4 presidency, where key presenters from Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovenia will provide exciting insights into the digitalization of the financial services industry.
The online conference is scheduled for the 12th of October, from 9:30 till 16:30.
The conference will take place in three sessions involving political decision makers, leaders from the banking and payments sector and successful financial businesses.
