Budapest Global

Cities face many challenges – driven by climate change, rapid technological developments and increasing economic competition – which are complex and dynamic in nature. Finding solutions to these challenges requires key urban stakeholders to work together and create synergies for an impact bigger than what their organization can achieve alone.

Budapest Global is a private, independent, and non-profit association that brings together the aspirations, expertise, and resources from the city’s leading companies, entrepreneurs, knowledge institutes, universities, cultural institutions, civil actors, and Metropolitan Municipality to make Budapest a globally connected- competitive-liveable city.

The mission of Budapest Global is to sustainably enhance the prosperity and well-being of the Budapest Metropolitan Area.

Budapest Global focuses on three major challenges:

  • attracting and retaining the most adaptive talent
  • supporting a data-driven smart and tech-enabled economy
  • shaping an outstanding, green, healthy environment
