We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming meeting focusing on sustainable business travel, hosted by WECO Travel.

The event will be opened by Balázs Horváth, Managing Director of WECO Travel, and Angela Saliba/Márton Vajda, Co-Chairs of AmCham’s Travel, Tourism & Entertainment Working Group.

The event will explore how sustainability is reshaping corporate travel and tourism, and what companies should consider when setting sustainable travel goals. Nelli Britz-Farkas, Head of Sales and Marketing at WECO Travel, will discuss the growing importance of sustainability in business travel, the evolving EU regulatory environment, and practical approaches companies can take to make their travel activities more sustainable.

The presentation will cover key areas such as business travel choices, meetings, accommodation, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), carbon compensation and CO2 reporting, while also addressing how companies can translate sustainability commitments into practical and measurable actions.

The session will also feature best-practice sharing, including WECO Travel’s WECO-Eco program and EcoVadis certification, as well as insights into sustainability and social impact practices at Marriott. Participants will be invited to share their own experiences and approaches, followed by a Q&A and networking session.
