Surviving a Cyberattack: Cybersecurity Workshop and Training
DESCRIPTION
Organizations are increasingly vulnerable to cyberattacks. The progressively permeable barrier between IT systems and operational control systems since the rise of „smart devices „to generate efficiencies and conveniences is only one example of how an organization may be targeted.
What happens if cyberattackers strike at the beginning of a public holiday? What if your Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) is unreachable on a flight? Do you feel confident that you would know what to do?
Irrespective of the reason and the timing, many organizations just don’t have the personnel infrastructure in place to be able to respond to the initial breach and subsequent facts as they emerge. Understanding the implication of how decisions may open or foreclose your options in a cyberattack is crucial.
Our workshop, led by our Washington DC partner Michael Bahar, runs through a realistic cyberattack against a global organization and has been designed to replicate real-world stressors.
The scenario-based training covers the roles, best practices and steps that your organization should take to make sure that a bad day doesn’t become tragic. The scenario will be based on real-world events and has been designed to bring out the complex considerations involved in the rapidly evolving global regulatory environment.
The workshop is highly interactive and informative, and will highlight the key lessons, including to avoid single points of failure. We use the below methodology to convey this in a concise and targeted way:
- Ten key principles.
- Key considerations.
- Ten key takeaways.
Related to cyberattacks, in the framework of the presentation 'When GDPR becomes reality', participants can also hear valuable comments from GDPR angle by Dr. Gergely Dzsinich, attorney in Hungary and of counsel of Sándor Szegedi Szent-Ivány Komáromi Eversheds Sutherland, Budapest.
