The COVID-19 pandemic has put our society and economy under extreme duress. During these difficult times, it is important to work together, share information and best practices. AmCham's new webinar series brings you experts from various filds every week to talk about the most pressing challenges we face at the moment.
About the webinar:
The first wave of COVID-19 has just started to settle down, but it cannot be ruled out that we should count with a second outbreak as well. In this unprecedented situation, enterprises should act with utmost cautiousness to preserve and increase their value.
The composition of assets vary company by company, but one thing is common: the protection of trade secrets and know how are in the core interest of all enterprises and employee loyalty is one huge contributing factor in preserving them. The efficient contractual protection of non-registered assets, and where the nature of business allows it, investing in registered intellectual property as well may help increase the company’s market value.
The webinar will focus on useful contractual provisions and adjustments which can contribute to protecting your know how and other confidential information, with a focal point on non-compete clauses and solutions to help increase employee loyalty. In addition, the review will give an outlook to transactions, where intangible assets may play an even more significant role from the perspective of company value than before the COVID-crisis.
Our speakers will be associates of bpv Jádi Németh Attorneys at Law:
