Where are we know more than two years after the outbreak of COVID-19? On June 16, Dr. Beatrix Oroszi, Acting Director of Semmelweis University, Epidemiology and Surveillance Center, will give us up-to-date information about the current coronavirus situation.


About the Speaker
Beatrix Oroszi graduated as a doctor of medicine and then specialized in preventive medicine and public health at Semmelweis University of Hungary. She became a Master of Science in Epidemiology in 2006 at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and also awarded a diploma of Health Services Management and Health Economics at University of Szeged.

Previously she worked at the Office of the Chief Medical Officer as head of department and then as the director-general of the National Center for Epidemiology until it was dissolved in the Ministry of Human Capacities. She has been the chief epidemiologist of the 'COVID-19 Epidemiology and Mathematical Modelling' project under the Ministry of Innovation and Technology.

At present, she is the Acting Director of Semmelweis University, Epidemiology and Surveillance Center.

The event will be held online.
