Update on the Pandemic Situation
As we head towards the fall season, dr. Beatrix Oroszi, epidemiologist, National Public Health Center will give us up-to-date information about the current coronavirus situation and will provide some tips on how to prepare for the second wave.
About the Speaker:
Beatrix Oroszi graduated as a doctor of medicine and then specialized in preventive medicine and public health at Semmelweis University of Hungary. She became a Master of Science in Epidemiology in 2006 at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and also awarded a diploma of Health Services Management and Health Economics at University of Szeged.
Previously she worked at the Office of the Chief Medical Officer as head of department and then as the director general of the National Center for Epidemiology until it was dissolved in the Ministry of Human Capacities.
At present she is the expert lead of the Methodological Development of the Health Care System in Hungary project funded by the EU, and she is also the chief epidemiologist of the 'COVID-19 Epidemiology and Mathematical Modelling' project under the Ministry of Innovation and Technology.
The event will be held in English.
