The Global Outlook Series was relaunched this year at AmCham to explore some of the most exciting issues and questions which impact our daily lives and today's business environment.

Following an engaging first session with Botond Feledy, the series continues with Zoltán Pogátsa, academic economist. 

On February 23, Zoltán Pogátsa will talk about how global economic realignment is changing the economic landscape and what it means for Hungary’s competitiveness.

Speakers
Zoltán Pogátsa, academic economist
Dr. Zoltán Pogátsa is an academic economist at the Alexander Lámfalussy Faculty of Economic Sciences at the University of Sopron. He is an expert in the economics of European integration, as well as comparative economics. Zoltán is the author of seven books, numerous scientific articles, and is a regular commentator in Hungarian and international media. He runs his own economic podcast, and is currently working on a book on what Central Europe can learn from the Asian economic miracle.
