Why do you think membership in the American Chamber of Commerce is important for businesses operating in Hungary?

AmCham is a respected organization in Hungary gathering different sizes of companies from various fields of activities. Sharing their experience, insights, best practices, formulating improvement ideas for each other and the government make AmCham a strong and successful organization. The individual company can benefit from the strength of this community by promoting proposals to the official bodies, to gather information and best practices from each other.

What motivates you to be the AmCham First Vice President?

I consider AmCham is one of the most influential non-governmental business organization of Hungary. I respect and know most of the member companies and their leaders. I am convinced that I could co-lead the organization by giving value to the members from the field of HR, propose and execute new initiatives while my company could benefit as well from more exposure.

Why do you feel you are qualified? What skills do you bring to the position of Vice President?

Having more than 20 years management experience in Hungary and different EU countries, working at different sectors and companies, I gathered rich experience which can help AmCham and its members. I have an economic master degree, I speak on top of English and Hungarian: French, Russian, German which might help in building relations with other chambers and businesses. I have long people management experience currently leading 400 people in 3 countries.

How have you been active in AmCham over the course of the last two years?

I made Randstad patron member of AmCham some years ago. Since then I am actively participating at AmCham events: Business Services Sector initiative, Business meets government, patron dinners. I participate in round tables giving inputs to various HR related and general business topics.
