Why do you think membership in the American Chamber of Commerce is important for businesses operating in Hungary?

I strongly believe that different associations can collect and represent the interests, ideas, innovations of its members and partners. Being one of the strongest commercial organization in Hungary, AmCham serves as a great example for this idea. AmCham is a body where the members are able to formulate their opinions, it acts as a bridge between business and government.
The other crucial factor is that it serves as a bridge between the Hungarian and American
corporate-life and it opens up cross-border, trans-atlantic cooperation possibilities.

What motivates you to be an AmCham Board Member/Supervisory Board Member?

I have been working in the HR field since 1992. Human Resources have never been more soughtafter, have never been more crucial for the development of corporations and for the global economic progress. HR is the key element of the future. As the former Head of the AIMS International EMEA region, I gained significant international experience, and learnt how important it is to mix different cultures and how beneficial it is for an organization to have different viewpoints. Based on the above I strongly believe that AmCham has to put a strong focus on Human Resources. I would ensure that this focus is aligned to local and global trends, and thus I would use my experience to support the work of AmCham members, particularly in the field of HR.

Why do you feel you are qualified? What skills do you bring to the position of Board Member/Supervisory Board?

I have been running my own company for more than 25 years and have been successful among the big players of the executive search market. I was elected and re-elected for a second term as EMEA Head of AIMS International that gives me all the skills that is needed to be a staple part of the AmCham board.
My skills most crucial in a team environment:
- being open-minded,
- harmonising various interests,
- bringing disruptive solutions,
- cooperation,
- listening to others,
- representing the common interests of the business environment.

How have you been active in AmCham over the course of the last two years?

I have personally attended many AmCham events, consulted members of AmCham, participated in a panel discussion, invited the AmCham President and the Board Members to the Annual General Meeting of AIMS International. As a responsible entrepreneur I have served AmCham to the best of my knowledge.
