Hungary’s competitiveness and the economic situation – discussion at AmCham’s Investment PTF online meeting with Éva Palócz and Péter Vakhal, Kopint-Tárki on January 22, 2021

Investment Policy Task Force held its first online meeting this year on competitiveness according to the World Economic Forum and the prospects of the Hungarian economy based on Kopint-Tárki forecast. Our invited guest speakers, Éva Palócz, CEO, and Peter Vakhal, senior research associate from Kopint-Tárki shared their views with us.

It is already a tradition to invite Peter Vakhal to present the main results and specialties of the new Global Competitiveness Report of the World Economic Forum (WEF) with focus on the Hungarian development. This time we broadened the picture and discussed the economic situation and the forecast of Kopint-Tárki for Hungary with Éva Palócz.

The meeting was open to members beyond Investment PTF as well. We are grateful for our guests for the valuable discussion.

Presentations are available via this link (Palócz) and here (Vakhal).
