Job opening: Finance and Office Manager

To support our office in Budapest, Hungary, we are looking for a colleague with English proficiency and strong organizational, financial and administrative skills from May 2019.

The Finance and Office Manager will have an essential role in the Chamber’s life and will be responsible for daily operations and finance related administrative tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the Chamber through effective cash-flow management, continuous monitoring of outstanding collection and procurement management, along with additional assigned projects on an ad hoc basis, as part of a strong, effective and professional team.

Key tasks will include the following:

Finance-related:

  • Billing, outstanding and incoming invoices management 
  • Day-to-day financial operations (banking, cash receipts, etc.) 
  • Monthly flash report, closure for accounting and VAT reconciliation
  • Close cooperation with AmCham’s accounting agency
  • Preparing the annual budget of the Chamber
  • Serving as cashier of the Office etc.

Office and staff (HR) related:

  • Handling all employees related documentation/contracts 
  • Managing cafeteria for the entire Staff
  • Compiling reports on sick-leaves, holidays and managing pay-roll
  • Supporting the CEO and other Staff members with questions related to travel, and company car
  • Coordinating all supply requirements of the office and procures as necessary

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Is experienced in financial and administrative position
  • Has excellent arithmetical and organizational skills, logical thinking
  • Is fluent in written and spoken Hungarian and English
  • Is an experienced MS Office programs user
  • Has strong affinity for problem solving and is disciplined in day-to-day work
  • Is a real team player
