ExxonMobil Business Support Center in Budapest Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Hungarian Government

ExxonMobil Business Support Center Hungary has arrived to an important milestone in his history, the company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Government of Hungary. The agreement was signed on 1 June 2018 by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó and ExxonMobil BSC Managing Directors Romke Noordhuis and Robert Ryan. The company also announced that during 2018 the Budapest staff is planned to grow by close to 300 employees. 168 colleagues have been already hired, and they are looking for at least an additional 120 by the end of 2018.

One of the objectives of the agreement is to strengthen the active participation of ExxonMobil BSC Hungary in the implementation of the economic policies on the market, aimed to improve the performance and international competitiveness of the Hungarian economy. The strategic agreement signed today is the result of an ongoing collaboration, as the company has been present in Hungary since 2004.

ExxonMobil is building on the professionalism and knowledge of the Hungarian experts.

Almost 1600 specialists working in the company’s Budapest office support and power ExxonMobil’s business mainly in the European and Africa-Middle East regions, while some activities are covering and supporting global operations of ExxonMobil Corporation. The BSC in Hungary provides support primarily in the fields of Finance, Accounting, IT, Customer Service and Tax. The variety and scope of activities performed in Budapest has been expanding year by year, further diversifying the range of job areas and positions available.
