US Commercial Service: Strengthening Cybersecurity Capabilities in Hungary Workshop

Cybersecurity workshop

Current Cybersecurity Threats

Russian aggression in Ukraine sharply increased the number and seriousness of cyberattacks in all segments and cyber risks present a growing threat to both government and private sector. Recent research from Intel 471 analyzed currently applied and frequently used tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) by prominent threat actors, and identified several cyber threat trends that will likely dominate the landscape in 2023 and beyond. It is predicted that the looming situation will continue to be shaped by an increase in ransomware attacks and a demand for network access. Malicious actors will continue to exploit security vulnerabilities, and hacktivism is likely to continue to pose a threat.

The workshop on Strengthening Cybersecurity Capabilities in Hungary is a great opportunity to get to know about local and regional cyber-attack threats and the appropriate defense mechanisms.

Event Details

Vitchock, the attendees will hear from U.S. cybersecurity companies in Hungary on their cyber-attack response solutions and possible ways to mitigate threats. The objective of the event is to reduce the national security risks posed by malicious cyber activities and emerging technologies and to bring allies and partners along to respond collectively when others engage in malicious cyber activity.
