Coronavirus

Last Update: October 13, 2020

In light of the recent COVID-19 outbreak, AmCham Hungary has decided to take precautionary measures, as the health and safety of our Members and Partners is of paramount importance for us.

Office and Staff

The AmCham Office is open.

The staff is back in the office on certain days and works from home on others. Please call ahead before visiting to check for availability.

Every employee and visitor must wear a mask inside our building and clean hands upon entering.

Please do not come to the office if you are sick or feel unwell. In case you live with or met someone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 14 days, please refrain from visiting our office.

Events and Meetings

AmCham organizes various hybrid and virtual events. Only business critical events - decided by the AmCham Board - can be organized with physical attendance with strict restrictions on the number of participants. To learn about AmCham's precautionary measures, please read our guideline.

All other AmCham events and meetings (including Committee, Policy Task Force and other working group meetings) are to be held online.

In April, we launched AmCham Live!, a new webinar series to discuss current events and challenges we face during the pandemic. The series continues in the fall.

Make sure to check out our upcoming events section for the latest information.
