“Start your business” For Young Entrepreneurs and Innovators - Early Growth to Expansion: How to manage the middle period

  • October 18, 2012
The “Start your business” co-operation is a series of two talks by successful Hungarian entrepreneurs followed by panel discussions, which will take place at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME). These talks and panel discussions we hope will inspire young entrepreneurs to “take the plunge” and start their own businesses. Participants will hear first-hand from successful entrepreneurs about how they built their companies, and they will get practical advice from experts in law, economics, finance, human resources, corporate governance, management and private equity.

We have a vision: That young entrepreneurs will take away with them the solid belief that, “If you come up with and develop a good idea, work hard, grow a transparent, clean, well-managed company and attract the right investors, then the world is open and the sky is the limit!” And we plan to show our guests how it can be done.

The importance of good corporate governance and business integrity will be a theme running throughout the program. And we will stress mid-to-long-term thinking, rather than get-rich-quick schemes. Both business integrity and proper planning are of critical importance to sustainable business success, to attracting future investors, and to the future of Hungary.
