AmCham’s Regulatory Committee welcomes Deputy State Secretary Dr. Zoltán Nemessányi

On 9 February AmCham’s Regulatory Committee welcomed Deputy State Secretary Dr. Zoltán Nemessányi and expert colleague Sára Kovács from the Ministry of Justice.

The Deputy State Secretary thanked AmCham for its outstanding professional input and support that has been regularly provided within the framework of a Strategic Partnership Agreement. Dr. Nemessányi gave an overview of the Ministry’s recent legislative work and priorities for 2017, and also indicated that the Ministry is looking forward to continuing the well-established, close cooperation with the Chamber in the public consultation part of the legislative work.

At the meeting, participants discussed and selected the legislative areas where AmCham will support the preparatory work of the Ministry with its recommendations.

AmCham – Ministry of Justice Strategic Partnership Agreement: First in 2011, then again in 2015, the Ministry of Justice and AmCham signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with the aim of formalizing cooperation and direct, structured consultation on legislative proposals.
